Launched in 2020 during a global crisis, the JOY (Just Open Yourself) Public Speaking Podium emerged as an online sanctuary when the world faced “confinement” and a “stifling of creativity and a dimming of hope”. Founded by Emmanuel Bathula, a visionary educator and champion of human potential, JOY quickly became a “lifeline” for individuals, both young and old, to “break free from the shackles of isolation and find their voices”.
We are proud to celebrate 200 weeks of unwavering dedication on February 28th, 2025, a remarkable milestone signifying 71 voices amplified, 1250 topics explored, and 18,000 minutes of transformative dialogue. JOY is more than just a platform for speaking; it is “a community, a nurturing environment where support and encouragement are paramount”.
